Anyone who has spent time around stamping knows the primary cause of scoring and galling is metal chips and fines trapped in the die by lubricant residue. Metal Mates eliminates scoring and galling by preventing chips and fines from sticking to the die. What’s more, our lubricants rely on chemical anti-wear ingredients, not abrasives or solids, to polish and condition the die.
When it comes to welding, no lubricant produces a better, cleaner, stronger weld, without prewash, than Metal Mates. Our lubricants have built-in flux properties that keep the weld area clean to eliminate weld porosity and improve weld quality and penetration.
